About this tour
Days 1-4: Serengeti National Park
Arrive into Kilimanjaro Airport and connect to the Singita Grumeti Reserve, an entire privately-owned game reserve in the western corridor of the Serengeti. Here your Singita experience will begin at Faru Faru Lodge, an intimate lodge with just eight cosy but spacious suites. Your three night stay will allow you to explore this exclusive region on 4×4 game drives in search of the impressive wildlife that resides here. Annually this area also host the impressive great migration of large numbers of zebra and wildebeest, which is an impressive sight from the comfort of a hot air balloon which can also be arranged for your stay.
Days 4-7: Volcanoes National Park
You will fly on a small charter flight to Kigali, Rwanda. Here you will be met and transported to the impressive volcanic mountain range of Volcanoes National Park. Singita Kwitonda is a new addition to the Singita portfolio and is a fantastic way of combining classic safari in the Serengeti with gorilla trekking in Rwanda, especially for those wishing to maintain the Singita level of luxury throughout their East African journey. The highlight of your three night stay here is of course the opportunity to see the mountain gorillas in the wild, a must on every wildlife enthusiasts bucket list. Although the trek can be exhausting, it is certainly worth your efforts and there is nothing quite like coming face to face with the curious brown eyes of a muscular silverback gorilla.
A preview of the trip

Serengeti - Singita Faru Faru
Situated in the western corridor of the legendary Serengeti, Singita Faru Faru Lodge overlooks a natural waterhole and the tree line of the Grumeti River. The nine stone, canvas and thatched suites have the air of a classic safari camp, yet the interiors offer the ultimate in contemporary chic with panoramic glass windows, mirrored room dividers and claw-foot baths.
Due to the natural watering hole on-site, guests needn’t ever leave, as here, the safari comes to you. The surrounding grassland is so awash with wildlife that guests can lounge in the swimming pool overlooking the waterhole, recline in the Lodge's elevated viewing decks, or unwind in the comfort of your luxurious room and watch as predators and prey are drawn right up to the lodge.

Rwanda - Singita Kwitonda
Boasting breathtaking views of the Sabyinyo, Gahinga and Muhabura volcanoes and surrounded by high-altitude forests, Singita Kwitonda Lodge offers an experience unlike any of Singita’s other destinations. With its exceptional natural beauty, environmentally conscious luxury and transformative, purpose-driven experiences, the lodge was designed in response to this remarkable location, and the eight contemporary suites (as well as the private four-bedroom villa – Kataza House) are linked by volcanic rock pathways to the central lodge.
