Your Room

Each spacious suite is built into the natural rock formations, blending seamlessly with the environment. A private outdoor terrace, complete with a plunge pool and viewing deck, provides breathtaking sunrise views.

The Main Lodge
Designed to blend with the environment, the lodge is a masterpiece of architecture. Its rounded shape and plant-covered roof resemble the region’s ancient rock formations and the hardy plants that grow between them. The lodge combines natural African materials with a modern touch, inspired by the Japanese Wabi-Sabi philosophy, which appreciates the beauty of nature’s imperfections.

The main lodge building mirrors the curves of the surrounding hills and offers incredible views of the conservancy’s landscapes and wildlife.

A stone path leads to the entrance, which opens onto a circular bar with panoramic views of the open plains. Softly lit corners create cozy, private spaces for guests to relax.

The Concession
Influences from the local Samburu people add cultural character, while earthy colors reflect the wildlife, including the rare African wild dog and black leopard. Most of the furniture and décor are handmade by Kenyan artisans, giving the lodge an authentic feel.

Suyian Conservancy, located in northern Kenya’s Laikipia region, is home to over 100 mammal species, including rare and endangered wildlife. The landscape is incredibly diverse, featuring grasslands, savannas, rocky hills (known as kopjes), thick woodlands, and more than 16 km (10 miles) of riverbanks. The only lodge in the conservancy, Suyian Lodge, is named after the African wild dog in the local Maa language.
